Everyone experiences overwhelm at some point in their life, but for some of us, it can be a regular – even habitual – occurrence. When this happens, the constant overwhelm becomes a soup of stress chemicals flooding the body with fight or flight hormones, taking a toll on our health, blocking our executive functioning skills, and stealing our ability to be creative and productive. Good news is, science tells us we can change, not only our behaviors but, how we think and feel, habitually too.
